Ancient Justice – Just Go Do It
Biography
Ancient Justice was formed in Brooklyn, NY around 1998 in the East Williamsburg Industrial Park storefront apartment at 490 Morgan Ave. which eventually became the basement venue “Fort Awesome”. The original group of residents in the building included Liam (Ancient Justice, caUSE co-MOTION!, MCDONALDS), Chris (Ancient Justice) and Eric (Black Dice, Ninjas). Later, Fort Awesome had to be abandoned after being flooded with human waste.
Ancient Justice is Ben, Liam and Chris. Each member switches off on all instruments and vocals. The Ancient Justice recording session usually consists of an hourly practice space, a 4-track and 2 to 3 hours in which they write and record 10 to 20 new songs.
They have recorded over 300 original songs organized into over 20 albums and collected the best tracks into two greatest hits albums titled “The Miracle” and “Ay Jays Mix Tape”.
