Time & Confusion (3:24)

Cover of Never Take Friendship Personal

From Never Take Friendship Personal and 2 other releases

I think the bridge sums up where we were in life, penniless, but with handfuls of dreams and goals. it really didn’t matter what happened at that point in our lives, we were living life to its fullest. The recording of this record and the time period that surrounded it were probably my favorite in the entire existence of Anberlin.

Why is Christian a genre, I don't understand? Isn't the meaning of genre a sort of name for a collection of similar musical styles, or does it also have to do with the shared aesthetic of poetry found in lyrics about Christianity? If it is about the lyrics then why isn't there Jewish, Hindu, Buddhist, Agnostic and so forth genres as well?

I always thought these guys were ok, but this song is blowing me away it's really good. Great beat, great staccato rhythm during the chorus and the "woah oh, yeah" part

They tagged Aberlin as "Christian rock" because the band members are all Christians, even though they don't categorize themselves as a "Christian band"

always one of my faves by them! reminds me of when a guy (who's a gigantic anberlin fan) in my guitar class played it on his acoustic, 2 years ago..was one of the sweetest things I've ever heard!! :)
