November 2006 brings the long-awaited follow-up to ANATOMIST’s 2004 Material Witness EP and debut album, Violence Is Its own Reward.

The brand new tracks on In Fading Light see the varied style of that earlier album reach full maturity, with spectacular results. Where Violence delighted in switching genre and style, these new tracks sit effort- lessly in their own space, defining ANATOMIST’s unique sound.

Over five tracks and more than half an hour’s listening, trademark floor-shaking basslines, stripped down post-breakbeat rhythms, a hint of the new London sound - this new material establishes acts from Highpoint Lowlife such as Bovaflux and RandomNumber as kindred spirits - all emerge with a rare consistency of vision.

With support from Radio 1 and Radio Wales, here’s one to watch.
