Anathallo are an indie band originally from Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, now mostly based in Chicago. Anathallo utilizes a wide variety of instruments, including horns, guitars, drums, piano, bells, and even unconventional objects like chains, velcro strips, stomp boxes, and pipes. The band has released several recordings through Selah Records, a vinyl release through Potential Getaway Driver, as well as completely independent releases.
Their UK distributed release, Four: A Great Wind More Ash, was released by Big Scary Monster (BSM) in 2008

I think Floating World is the best as an album, but Canopy Glow is better in terms of each song being very very strong. You just don't find an album that flows like Floating World everyday. Their stuff before FW hasn't really grabbed me yet... with the exception of some songs on A Holiday At Sea. I feel kinda embarrassed for them when I listen to Luminous Luminescence...
