Analogue Monsta is a duo that consists of Suzi Analogue and TOKiMONSTA.
With a diverse background of hip-hop, psych rock, R&B, and electronic music, TOKiMONSTA and Suzi Analogue are a distinct identity as Analogue Monsta. This twosome uses their eclectic musical upbringing and personal styles to create a sound like no other. Their aesthetic incorporates elements of originality with classic sensibilities, and radical thinking with radio accessibility.
In 2010, Suzi Analogue (Dopeness Galore) and TOKiMONSTA (Ultra/Brainfeeder) joined forces to begin a collaborative project under the pseudonym Analogue Monsta. Their first single “nxt msg”, was featured on BBC Radio 1 by Mary Anne Hobbs and Gilles Peterson. Gilles also released the track on his compilation Brownswood Bubblers Volume 5. The duo opened for producer Bonobo’s U.S. Black Sands Tour.
Analogue Monsta’s debut EP titled Boom was released on July 24, 2012.
