When Amy was just 18yrs old she was accepted as one of the first students at LIPA. It was only from her natural ability on the guitar at the audition that got her through as she had no formal music knowledge.
Amy has , over the last 2 years, developed a strong underground following and based in Croyde in the West Country U.K. she has the support of the surfing community . Her fans keep in touch through her own website and

Her first album, released in june 2005, was called “Lost for Words” which was recorded at Gateway Studios and mixed at Abbey Road Studios . Produced by Derek Johnson with session musicians Jose Joyette- Alpheous Little- Chris Wilson, making up the team was engineer Steve Lowe
Her new album released in June 2007 is called “Which hand” and features 10 new songs written and produced in her home studio.
She played all the instruments on the album herself to get the raw acoustic sound by which she is known from her live performances.
2010 has seen Amy’s career go into music research for a Natural History program for the BBC.
One of her songs used in a short film “Fiberglass and Megapixels” .
She has also just joined a band “Black Swan Effect” as their lead guitarist who have been signed to New World Records
