So, Enrique Iglesias is back with a new album finally - an album for which he apparently recorded far more tracks than he could have used in two albums. So, is the perfectionists album perfect? Early soundbites about ping-pong balls being used for instruments and Enrique going all rentarapper didn't bode well..
Ring My Bells A silky smooth intro with Enrique pleading with some lover or another to ring his bells. This is actually a really strong track, with great instrumentation courtesy of Kristian Lundin. [8/10]
Push (featuring Lil' Wayne) Oh dear. The whispers about Enrique going all rent-a-rapper were true after all. And that's a shame, because this wouldn't be a bad track if it was just Enrique without his pals from 'da hood' (or wherever it is these gun toting bores claim to be from). Shame on you, Enrique, for dabbling with such drivel. [1/10]
Do You Know? And here's the "ping pong song". You know what? This is really great! One of the finest tracks from Mr. …

If the score is small (extreme = 5) your musical preferences are very limited, and if it is large (larger than 80, extreme = 100), then you have an eclectic musical preference. I gotta write a big year in review journal to show what I loved about music in 2006.
A few of my favorites returned this year with albums including Sugarcult with “Lights Out” & Butch Walker With, “The Rise & Fall of Butch Walker and The Let’s-Go-Out-Tonites!” & I discovered awesome new bands like Thriving Ivory, Sick Puppies, The Classic Crime & Family Force 5 To name a very limited few.
I’ll start with My top 10 albums of 2006 which has taken me a damn long time to narrow down:
1.Thriving Ivory – S/T
Raved about this one all year and it’s easily my favorite of the year. Most played artist of the year with 1,543 plays. These guys from Northern California are still somehow Unsigned and if you are a fan of bands like Augustana, The Fray, Lovedrug or Our Lady Peace then definitely check out Thriving Ivory:
2.Saosin – S/T
So I’d always really liked “I Can tell” by these guys and a few other songs I had heard and was more than pleased with this album. …
5 Mar 2006, 18:35 by S9DallasOz1. Thriving Ivory - (192 Plays):
Did I mention I was obsessed? I got the three new songs "Angels on the Moon", "Overrated" & "Long Hallway with A broken Light" and have just been playin' em non-stop all week really. It's only a matter of time till these guys get signed. Bay area band sounding similar to Augustana, Keane, Feeder, Our Lady Peace, Sleeping at Last Piano/rock in general. I highly recommend
2. Quietdrive - (49 Plays):
Been a fan of these Minnesota based emo/pop rockers for a few years now. Since they were Sneaker 2 Bombs. Now loving their "Fall From The Ceiling" EP and highly anticipating their Butch Walker produced major label debut due out this spring. If you like Anberlin, Dropping Daylight or anything you may consider high-energy emo/pop/rock stuff then check out "Rise From The Ashes" & "Take a drink"
3. Dropping Daylight - (40 Plays):
