This one man band from South Korea was so unique for the weird gig.
Members are a classic guitar and a wig-haired man whose name is “Vad Hahn(한 받)”
So, exactly speaking, this is one man and one guitar band.
Vad is born 1974, in Daegu Metropolitan City, which is located in south of South Korea.
As a young man, his dream was to be a filmmaker.
But his short video-films were not quiet funny or interesting.
So he stopped shooting video-films then he started stroking
someone’s guitar with his heart when he was out of his house.
After graduation from local university, he moved to Seoul.
Then he found temporary job and started live shows in “Club BBang(클럽 빵)” 4.20.2003.
Band’s live shows were held more than 350 and shows were famous for something weird gig in South Korea.
(Vad is also member of Post-Punk band “Stretching Journey(스트레칭져니)” and managing several project bands, Nune-Piro(눈의피로), Yamagata Tweakster(야마가타 트윅스터), Mapo Sonyeon Sonyeo Chorus(마포소년소녀합창단) etc)
In the gig, Vad passionately strokes his classic guitar and sings songs with his own lyrics.
Lyrics are simple, short and captured instantly from everyday life.
Guitar storking makes stronger rhythm than normal drumming.

SoCow Amature is one of the greats.

arcticsounds I used to play in Seoul a lot with my band and i specifically told the owner of a club that he had to book Amature amplifier to play as well even though this owner wasn't very keen on this idea. And AA played and he was really fucking good. i'd like to get hold of an album, but i'm not i Seoul anymore.
