Paul and Hewson (then in Vitesse, now in The New Lines) began playing as Alsace Lorraine in 2000. They released "Through Small Windows" in 2001, with Ruth Welte and Caitlin Brice.   • only just discovered this band through a friend - but at least some of their records are amazing. the voice, the sound, even the words - where have they been hiding all this time? 'summer days at home' feels like one of the greatest pop records I've ever heard.
