There are (at least) three bands currently using the name Alpha Omega. One is a solo project by Colin Lindo (Ireland) and the other a psychedelic space rock three-piece (Australia).

Alpha Omega (Dublin, Ireland), led by Colin Lindo, has released on such profilic labels as Reinforced, Outbreak, Trouble on Vinyl, Subvert Central Recordings and many more. He releases Techno, Downtempo and Electronica under the Nubian Mindz monkier.

Alpha Omega (Brisbane, Australia), formed in 1998 and exclusively play space rock music in a psychedelic vein, heavily influenced by Hawkwind. They have released a number of albums, including “Electronic Mind Project” (2001), “People Of Earth, We Have Come To Blow Your Mind” (2004) and “Psychedelometer” (2007), collaborated with the likes of Daevid Allen (Gong) and appeared on a recent Hawkwind tribute album.

Alpha Omega is also one of artist monicker of Oliver Lieb, german trance/techno producer:
