  • What a band "deserves" is a matter of opinion. Maybe someone in the world thinks your neighbor's garage band sounds a million times better than either of these bands. You and I would probably disagree but I bet your neighbor thinks his band is pretty sweet. Who the hell cares whether he or you or me or anyone else thinks a band does or doesn't "deserve" something? It's not going to suddenly destroy a band's reputation because some people on the internet don't think they "deserve" it.
  • Damn right some bands deserve more attention than others. Alpha & Omega deserve more attention than your neighbors garage band. I love a lot of heavy music and these hardcore cats can slay, but the dub Alpha & Omega are legends, they've been around for decades. There's really no comparing the two.
  • I didn't know bands "deserved" attention more or less than other bands. If I came here for the dub band or came here for the hardcore band, there's a pretty small chance I care about the other. That's not a discredit to either band--it's a pretty unnecessary but probably safe bet about the two genres and the limited level of crossover between them. Neither band deserves your pretty squabbling. Get over it.

  • Alpha & Omega is one of the most influential bands in dub, reggae and electronic music since the 80's. I'm sorry for hardcore people for being such close minded, but the original Alpha & Omega deserve much more attention that a band formed in 2007...[5]

  • THE HALF THAT'S NEVER BEEN TOLD by ALPHA AND OMEGA....It's not a re-issue, it's not a re-press, it's not a compilation: it is 'The Half That's Never Been Told', an unreleased Alpha And Omega LP produced between 1989 and 1995, released early in 2014 on Steppas Records. Irie.
