I know this is a long shot since Allan truly is one of a kind, but I am looking for albums similar to the kind of complex yet accessible sound displayed on Allan's "Road Games" EP, and to some extent, "I.O.U." With or without vocals is really a non-issue, the most important thing is the overall feel of the whole thing. It's fairly easy to find artists (copycats or not) who sound somewhat similar to Allan when he goes all-out nuts with his alien fusion-style, but I have yet to find something that comes even remotely close to the ingenuity of tracks like "Water on the Brain Pt. II" or "The Things You See".
