Sábado 29 Jan – All Time Low & Motion City Soundtrack

Wed 3 Feb – Kerrang! Relentless Energy Tour 2010

So yeah, I only actually watched The Blackout and All Time Low here, 'cause I would've died of tiredness if I'd been there for doors opening. + the less time spent with screaming little girls the better...

So yeah, The Blackout were well better than I expected. It's been a while since I saw them last by my reckoning, but yeah, they can definitely hold themselves live. The crowd seemed to be loving it as well, so fun times all around. I'm surprised he didn't get lynched for saying "Geordie bastards" on more than one occasion on stage, though haha!

All Time Low I was really impressed with. They seemed to sound a lot better than they did when I saw them back in September. It does sadden me, however, that their new stuff i.e. Nothing Personal sounds better than their older stuff live, though :(. Mind you, not like they played anything at all from The Party Scene, and they only played Jasey Rae from Put Up or Shut Up; this lack…

  • Take Action! Tour. All Time Low, Set Your Goals, Stealing O'Neal & Built On Secrets

    8 Jun 2009, 04:47 by Nickpetersen

Sat 6 Jun – THE TAKE ACTION! AUSTRALIAN TOUR 2009 (18+)

Rocked up at the Corner Hotel about 7:30 for the 8:30 doors open. Doors probably opened about 8 or 8:15 which is always good, so we all piled in, and Built On Secrets, the first band up started to play. I hadn't actually heard their music before but they were rather good and would happily see them again. Downside was that it was impssible to make out anything the singer said, even in between songs with no music going when he was just talking
Next on was Stealing O'Neal on the main stage who i had heard a bit about but also never listened to on record, however i had seen them earlier this year at Soundwave, and again they were great. Only problem i had was the singer, well more his mic but ever time he made a specific sound it came out horribly through the speakers and being close to the speakers i almst lost my left ear drum, thankfully they fixed this up for the next two bands.
  • All Time Low - Jasey Rae

    Jasey Rae,

    Luzes apagadas
    Eu ainda ouço a chuva
Essas imagens que ocupam minha cabeça
Agora impedem meus dedos de cometerem erros
Dizem à minha voz o quanto custa para
    Falar alto, falar alto

Me xingue, me mate com palavras

  • "The Beijing Playlist"

    16 Mar 2008, 07:03 by dylangerescape

Last week, i embarked and joined an ambitious excursion to the land of bargains and bargainers. China.
It was just an ordinary class trip tradition we do every year, and for a while, i never thought that this China thing was going to mean anything to me. And uh.. well it didnt. It didnt have the same chemistry that it once had before when i went to Thailand with my class. The only difference it had with the Thailand thing, was that i brought my own ipod and in the former trip i didnt.
But rest assured, the songs remained the same and the whole week turned out to be a great week, with me forseeing that Facebook will crash due to the number of photos uploaded at one time.

Since my last class trip to Thailand (read my other journal), it has become a tradition for me to comprise a playlist according to the whole experience and what songs meant it for me.
There are in total 25, including some lesser extent ones.

    1. Jasey Rae- All Time Low.
