Alkistis Protopsalti (Άλκηστις Πρωτοψάλτη) was born October 18, 1958 in Alexandria, Egypt of Greek parents. Alkistis began a remarkable singing career in Greece in 1975 and is considered one of the top female voices. Her passion when singing and her contact with the audience placed her among the most beloved artists in Greece.
