”My iTunes Movie Soundtrack"
*Putting iTunes on random, let it select a song for each of the scenes and comment on how well it chooses!*
(Total number of songs to pick from: 2864)
7 Minutes in Heaven (Atavan Halen)
Recently become popular with the Radio One crowd, and Fall Out Boy really do deserve some recognition. This isn’t one of the standout tracks for me, but listening to the whole album is 43 minutes well spent.
Back to Hell
Woah there, an angsty start by iTunes. Life isn’t that bad! The song isn’t as melancholy as the title would imply though. And we like over-driven guitars and frantic drums, yes we do.
FIRST DAY AT SCHOOL:
The End of All Things
Um... yes. Again, a little more angsty than strictly necessary! This is from the Lord of The Rings Soundtrack, right at the end where Frodo and Sam are stuck on the edge of an exploding volcano and everything is good and bad at the same time. …
25 Apr 2006, 12:28 by RyanManDSI didn't bother doing a Round-Up last week because I didn't really listen to a lot of music that week. I was barely even on the computer. This week was even worse, but I'll do a simple one anyway. We'll just go ahead and pick a favourite album and song for each of the ten.

30 Nov 2005, 22:49 by Mangula_D1SAs before, my limit was 100 words on this, so it might seem a little brief.
With the Academy the fullest I've seen it in a long time, it would have been a shame if Alkaline Trio hadn't lived up to expectations. Opening with "Back to Hell", they didn't disappoint. Despite their relatively subdued stage presence, they played a great set, with something for everyone. The pit was jumping from the first chord, and didn't stop until the end of the encore, except to clear a path for someone who fainted halfway through "This Could Be Love". She was fine, and the show went on, leaving echoes in fans' ears for days.
The gig was fantastic, the pit was crazy, and the music was amazingly good. I was a bit late, so I missed the first support act, and the second support act was... strange. It was entirely not what I was expecting. It was good, it was a chinese man with an acoustic guitar playing his own stuff. Really interesting. …
