Alissa White-Gluz is the former lead singer of the metalcore band The Agonist, and the current lead singer for Swedish melodic death metal group Arch Enemy.

Alissa is also vegan, an animal rights activist and she’s straightedge and her views show in her lyrics. She was once on “Canadian Idol” but it wasn’t her idea. When she reads books she likes to read biographies or school text books because she enjoys reading to learn.

Alissa White-Gluz (born July 31, 1985 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada) is a metalcore singer in the Canadian band .She can use perfect clean vocals with a strong voice and screaming vocals that mixes very well to the agonist musicality, which I think is more tended to melodic death metal. Has radically changed the quality of voice type without any difficulty.
Alissa has helped to inform his band “The Agonist” thanks to his singing style but also in part to its image as it has appeared in two editions of the magazine “Revolver” because of its appearance. Also actively working with PETA, she being a lover of animals. Another feature is that it belongs to the Straight Edge movement and carries vegan living. (Being born vegetarian, vegan since age 15)

Including one of the “Hottest Chicks In Metal” (Revolvermag), and one of 25 Top Women in Metal (Magazine Metalholic), Metal Queen Alissa White-Gluz also became “Sexist Vegetarian Women” at the world competition 2011 (Peta2)! by world-class competitors, including celebrities such as Natalie Portman, Anne Hathaway, and Olivia Wilde.
