ALISON GROSS started as an acoustic duo in 1992 under the name ON GOLDEN POND, consisting of Muriel Brugman (bass, vocal) and Erwin Wolters (guitar, vocal). A year later drummer Paul van Rijswijk (ex-Supersub) joined and the band was renamed into ALISON GROSS. Late 1994 their first album “Sit With The Guru” was released. This well-received album enabled them to tour intensively. Their fame even rose as far as Peru (!), where they reached the number one spot with their song “Sit Up Straight”. The band disbanded early 1996.
