“Superwoman” is a song by American R&B-soul singer-songwriter Alicia Keys from her third studio album, As I Am. Written by Keys, Linda Perry, and Steve Mostyn, the track was released as the fourth single from the album.

Alicia Keys told the New York Times that this song is a reminder, to herself, that “even when I’m out, and I’m just a mess, and I’m not perfect, and everything’s not great, and I’m struggling to figure out what is what, I’m still a superwoman.” (Source Superwoman Songfacts.)

It earned Keys her second consecutive Grammy Award for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance at the 51st Grammy Awards, and was also nominated for Outstanding Music Video and Outstanding Song at the 40th NAACP Image Awards.

    I like her a lot but the way she ends this song is abysmal. "You're a superwoman...yes you...*knows this is going to sound lame but can't think of another way to end*...YYEEAAAAARRRRHHHAAAHHHHHEEEHH...*lowers voice hoping it won't sound as crap as it actually is*...you arrreee...". I just can't get behind that, lol, it's an awful way to end a good song.
