27 Nov 2010, 18:05 by gruffgruff13i joined this group "everything related to grunge." As soon as i got in i noticed something that was horribly wrong. There were absolutely no alice in chains links, songs, albums or people that were listening to them. In my view, this was a complete outrage! Alice in chains was one of the first and one of the best grunge bands ever made up. And my personal favoriteGod Am SO GO LISTEN

I may be a youngin' and have only seen about 7 shows in my lifetime but I'm confident enough to say that this was definitely one of the best shows I've seen in my life. All three bands had amazing energy and stage presence.
I missed Mastodon's first two songs since I arrived a little later than planned, but the rest of their performance was incredible. I may not as a big of fan as them than the other two, but hearing "Megalodon" actually surprised me (admittedly, I don't keep up with their setlists), so I was going pretty bonkers over it. Coulda used some stuff from Remission Strangely enough, the during Deftones' set I coulda sworn I saw their drummer Brann Dailor walk past the area between the seats and the fences that circle the floor; odd, yet kinda cool.

Really enjoyed this gig.
Little Fish were good, for what they are, but unfortunately a two-piece indie-rock group with a female vocalist doesn't really seem to qualify as a decent support act for legendary grunge/metal titans like Alice.
The lead singer sung her heart out, but there was a definite lack of enthusiasm from the crowd, mostly due to the style clash between the headline band and the support.
Needless to say, Jerry and co got the place rocking. Everyone in the venue was bouncing up and down for the first two or three songs, and in good voice for the rest of it. I'm sure someone will fill in the rest of the details.
