  • After many years I think I'm finally ready to acknowledge this as AIC's best record and incidentally in my top 2 albums of all time (maybe even number 1).
  • 9/10
  • v I think I may have to agree with you on that one. The sound, lyrics and feel of this album are indescribable.
  • The best Alice in Chains album.
  • My favourite one by them. Love the muddy sluggish production and those bitter vocal harmonies
  • Solid record.
  • Layne went out with a bang. Better than Jar of Flies any day.
  • 8.3 out 10
  • 9.75/10
  • I simply love it.
  • honestly their best album
  • I didn't like this album when I first heard it but now I'm listening to it at least once a day. Grind, Sludge Factory, Head Creeps, Again and Frogs make this an album I can't stop listening to.
  • Anyone that listens to 'Frogs' and thinks it is in no way depressive needs to go see a psychologist, because they just might be depressed.
  • sick album
  • The worst AiC album I think. But still good... [2[ When it's good its great, but this album is the only one that has AIC songs that i really don't like.
  • best album
  • "@ alfred129, your rating isn't relevant here. You listen to Linkin Park, P.O.D., and Disturbed." him liking bands you don't, does not discredit his opinion. You are hands down the idiot in this scenario.
  • First Alice album I owned. Memories man... I'll never forget looking through the booklet and reading the thank you section and getting a kick out of Layne's section. What a great man, I'd give anything for him to still be here today. R.I.P. angel.
  • The worst AiC album I think. But still good...
  • But honestly, I love this album. I love the dark and creepy atmosphere on all the songs. But it's a shame that Layne didn't sing here as he used to do, fucking drugs killing people who don't deserve it. The sad thing is that the last line which close this album is "We pay our debt sometime". Still, one of the best albums of the nineties.
  • My rating 10 out of 10
  • Hahahah BUUUUURN! @alfred129
  • @ alfred129, your rating isn't relevant here. You listen to Linkin Park, P.O.D., and Disturbed.
  • awesome album. <3 sludge factory
  • Нравится) лучший у них
  • @TheLe0 depression is a key factor in ANY Aic album
  • Best
  • v heard frogs or shame in you?
  • Why depressive? I can't find any sign of depressive in this albun, in really I can't find it in any music of them.
  • my favorite piece of music in existence
  • You can find new layers in this release with every listen... love it. An underrated favorite for sure.
  • Well I think its the least best Alice album. Not like that makes it bad though.
  • Best Alice in Chains album, get stoned and listen to this, really intense.
  • at first i hated it but now i think it's their best album, people just don't like it because it doesn't have many radio hits like their other albums. [2] Well, I don't think it's their best but I agree people don't give it enough credit. It shows a bit more different side of AiC. It's a very raw and depressive album.
  • i think this is their best album just edging out Dirt, but Jar Of Flies is definitely the best thing they ever did.
  • @ReachDown: I wonder the same thing
  • Why Grind and Again are considered as wrong tagged songs ?
  • Why is this cover yellow? It has always been PURPLE
  • Yes, but this is one of the best album covers, I have seen. I want a tattoo with this picture ...
  • this cover and depressing and very sad.
  • Their best work. No matter how much I listen to their other releases, I always come crawling back to this album. Spectacular. If only they had released more in this style.
  • Great Album !
  • In my opinion this is AIC's darkest, most depressing album. It is so full of dark atmosphere, sludgy sounds and almost dissonant harmonies that it makes "Dirt" seem like a childrens birthday party.
  • baby i like it
  • Excellence.
  • Could have been a great album, but the bland production makes it just good. Most of these songs sound much better on the Unplugged album. Frustrating album to listen to.
