Despite the new wave production style, I actually feel this is more like Alice going back to his routes. L&W and FTI are both good albums, but they are kind of 70s adult pop. This is Alice getting his garage back on - no ballads!

Underrated classic. His best early 80's album

One of the better 80's albums from the Coop. Production reminds me of Devo's Freedom of Choice album.

That's exactly the stuff I'm looking for: Cheesy synth shit from the 80s none else gives a damn about.

No, al the songs are NOT like "Clones(We're All) -which I had heard before, but never knew it was Alice. Of course I'm talking when I got this album...1980-81?...and if I had to pick 1 song off this album as my favorite, I'd choose "Pain"-although, you can see by my library , I often play "Clones(We're All)..go figure....

This is one of those classic albums, for me -- I used to play it all the time and look forward to hearing it again. Clones (We're All) was the song that got me into it, but really that whole side of the record was great. Talk Talk is a great cover! Forgot about that.

The first album in Alice's flirtation with new wave and post punk sounds. A real different sound for the new decade, so different to From The Inside. It's a fun album, Clones and Model Citizen are my favourite tracks, the rest is OK but I prefer Special Forces.

I am open minded and I am not one of those people that thinks Alice only made great albums in the early and mid 70's. This is a perfect example, this album is very cool though I do prefer Special Forces and Dada.

Underrated (as are a lot of the lesser known in-between albums)

i think that title FLUSH THE FASHION is really cool, the Alice's coolest one ... very stylish, stylish as new wave, stylish as fashion ... and that's the funny point, it's flushing the fashion in very stylish fashion ... Alice is god ...
