Alex Monakhov

Alex Monakhov was born in Moscow, Russia in 1983. Radio station 106.8FM had a big influence in his musical taste. Some time later Alex decided to find his own sound and so in 1997 he began producing his own music. Later on he formed a project called Night System with Anton Chernikov. Since 2003 Alex been working on solo projects. His first track Little Love was released on Atmo Records (Atmosfera 1) under the Atlantic Waves guise. His next track Sunset Breeze was picked up by Markus Schulz on Global DJ Broadcast, who also released it on his Coldharbour Recordings. Alex’ remix was also included on Vadim Zhukov’s release Evolution. Later Alex and Vadim Zhukov paired up to make track called Yellow.
