Alex Winston is a 19 year old singer from the Detroit area. She’s been performing for most of her life, and her passion for music led her to link up with Chris and Drew Peters awhile back to develop her musical vision. The Peters brothers have written songs for or produced such artsts as Kid Rock, Electric Six, Ted Nugent, and The Black Eyed Peas. Over the last year Alex has performed with artists like Chuck Berry, Miranda Lambert, The Wreckers, Love Arcade, Electric Six, We Are The Fury, the Satin Peaches, Uncle Kracker, and more. The diversity of the audiences and performers she’s played for and with is no accident…it’s a reflection of a musical palate that stretches from The Faces to Sam Cooke, Lenny Kravitz, Little Richard and Sheryl Crow.
Alex recently released her first EP, “By The Roots.” She’s planning on a busy 2008, touring as much of this country (the world?) as will have her.
