Both the singer and trumpeter on this track are wonderful.

I can't stand 'operatic' (as in Wagnerian) sopranos and wondered if I just didn't like sopranos full stop. This, sung as Baroque music should be, is delightful - the immensely long note at about the end of the first phrase, without a hint of wobble, vibrato or forcing, is awe-inpsiring. As is the trumpeter's ability to match her note for note!

Well, Susanne Ryden, I take my hat off to you. I nearly skipped this when I thought it was going to be another warbly soprano(is it soprano?) -but I found your voice terrific. Thanks. Not much else on lfm but youtube is worth a search.
