Try This With Your Eyes Closed

Try This with Your Eyes Closed is the first release by the post-hardcore band Alesana. It was released on mid 2005 with Alesana’s original members (Shawn, Dennis, Patrick, Will Anderson, Steve Tomany) and produced by Shawn. Every song in the EP has been re-released on later CDs except for “Not a Single Word About This” and “Beautiful in Blue” (which didn’t make the final cut of the Where Myth Fades to Legend track listing). This EP has been re-issued and re-mastered by Jamie King with two tracks off of an early sampler called “All The Tragedy Money Can Buy”. Unlike Alesana’s other CD’s, there are few allusions to mythology. The EP was re-released in 2008.
