Alain BARRIERE was born in 1935, the 18th Novembre, at ‘la Trinité-sur-Mer’, France.
En 1958, he buys his first guitar. At the end of 1962, he writes his first important song: (« Elle était si jolie »). December 1964, he plays in Paris at: le Music-Hall du boulevard des Capucines he sings: « Ma vie » and soon it’s a big hit.
1975, his song: Tu t’en vas is loved in Canada and Brazil and becomes number 1 in Germany, first time a french song makes it since MILORD from Piaf.
