Great song by a great artist. I don't care if my wife says he sounds like steam escaping...

O-dream, I disconcur. This is a great song. Here Al was trying on the Springsteen-like style. In lines like "dealing a jack from the back of the pack" he was stretching his style in emulation of an artist he admired. Time passages is easy to love. But give this a few listens.
