As a Japanese sound director and designer in Konami Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd., Akihiro Honda (本田晃弘) started making music for video games. “Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops” is one of his best known works, along with an additional arrangement track “Calling To The Night”.

He also helped compose the music for “Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker”, including the composition of the title theme for the game.

What? How is Vs. Metal Gear from Ac!d not in the top tracks? It's in my top favourite pieces of game music ever - absolute classic track, fits the situation perfectly, and is hummable as all hell.
