Biography

Airut was a heavy metal band from Finland sung in Finnish. They incorporate some influences from Finnish folklore and also some influences from thrash and death metal. One of the biggest reasons why they are known is the mod for Operation Flashpoint called Finnish Defense Forces, as they use it as their soundtrack.

    Airut reminds me of my service in Finnish Air Force, almost as much it reminds me of FDF mod for Flashpoint. Great band, shame they quit.

    Not that I'd be a big fan of this band, but I do like some of the songs and I'd like them on my playlist here, so why in the name of anyoneyouwant aren't they shown there? Anyone else having this problem? It's specificly with Airut.

    Album was dissapointing tbh. The new songs were decent but the new versions of the old songs just kinda lost the specialness.

    I always thought people who listened to foreign music were weird, until one day I was playing the FDF mod for flashpoint and Lyijykyyneleet came on. I was like Holy crap, I have no idea what they're saying, but this is a damn good song. They are now one of my favorite bands.
