Biography

There are two bands that took the name of Air Signs:

-One formed in 2006, New York

-The one you’re reading about in 2007, Milan (Italy)

“Air Signs” is a rock project born in Milan, Italy, formed in September 2007 by lead voice and composer Alex Lupi.
The official line-up includes in addition to the frontman, Martino Meda at the guitars, Fabio Visocchi at the keyboards, Francesco Secchi at bass-guitar and Alessandro Grassi at the drums.
In Jenuary 2008 the band recorded its first official demo at the Overdrive Studio in Milan;
Once the band finished the mixing (with the collaborations of Dario Forzato and Walter Lupi), it started a live tour to promote its project.
After taking a more experimental musical path, in December 2008 the Air Signs started the
self-production of their first album at the Ocean Wave Studio with Luca Zamponi, guitarist and international musician.

In February 2010 Martino Meda left the band and Dario Forzato replaced him as guitarist.

In the springtime 2010, the master is done and the album is published and distributed on-line.

“Air Signs is not only the research of a sound alchemy able to make the listener’s strings vibrate;
It’s especially a philosofy: the signs in the air are messages that everyone can perceive, once he has learned how to see and listen to them.
They are messages that talks about the world and its meanings; they’re the proof that we’re here for a reason and everything has its own meaning, even words and musics.”
