I think I was already into the Magnolia soundtrack and Bachelor No.2 as well, and I probably had Whatever but hadn't played it that much. And then I read about this song in the Nick Hornby book 31 Songs and got a bit obsessed with it. Then 4th of July became my favourite song on that album, so I haven't played this much for so long that it sounds fresh again.

I'm still not sure what this is about, but oh man... This is so, so beautiful.

I know someone who broke up with his ex by leaving this song blaring on his stereo all day.

Why is it that all the cool artists I want to see are always playing somewhere in Ireland? Should I consider immigrating?? This is a beautiful song....

Aimee is up there sitting at ease with the wordsmiths of the popular generations.

Easily my favourite Aimee Mann song, it rolls along beautifully. There's a live acoustic version of this knocking around that is even more intimate.

Great song. I like Aimee. But this is the best I have heard from her. So far...

This is one of those classic songs that, as a fan, I am happy was never a radio hit. It feels like something beautiful and personal. Great songwriting.
