  • On te regrettera!
  • Seems that lately I've been hearing about a lot players switching from the Strat to other models complaining about how the Strat tones are so over-used. They should listen to Public Domain. You coax a lot of interesting tones out of that guitar, quite a few of which I'm guessing are the result of finger/plectrum attack. Struck me that what's overly used isn't the instrument but a rigid approach to attack. I've listened to and written extensively about Strats and Strat players and have to congratulate you on having made the sound from such a univerally recorded guitar uniquely yours. After listening to "A Minor Introduction" I had to find out more about you and saw that you have an upcoming release and was going to ask Ulrich to send it. • So I had all the time in my life to listen closely to your CD.......and I'm blown away !!! My deepest respect to you and your phantastic group. You, Stomu and Ted are definitely THE dreamteam. I always considered "Tumble Weed" the absolute masterwork that can't be beaten. But with "Free Speech" you succeeded. This must be a humbling experience for everybody who calls himself a guitar player. Glad I'm playing the piano. - Jürg Sommer
