Though I prefere the harsher vocals in Blacken The Angel, this album contains some gems too.

vocals really stink on this one... they are over processed and trying too hard to sound demonic, or "beautiful" in places where clean are used, unlike Blacken the Angel where they come across as pained, emotional, but still aggressive. I mean, they are not perfect on BtA, and sometimes annoying, but you can hear the fluctuation of emotional content in the voice, and the places where he sounds most aggressive or tormented really work with the musical passages to make it that much more profound. Of course this is only my opinion!
