This is my favourite of their 4 albums; its just dripping with emotion on every note, and its got that wintry, sad, desolate vibe to it. I dare say it might be one of the few perfect albums in existence.

Best album ever, not as an objective statement, but rather a hyperbole for the purpose of articulating the greatness, and consistency of this work. Any work of which you can say "greatest ever" with all seriousness, no matter the "subjectiveness" of music, and so forth is rare. I think "The Mantle" is one of those works. In that case I have no objection to that statement.
