labor days is great but aes seems really really comfortable in his own skin with the last couple of releases. he can make a song about a donut shop or his new kitten or rebellious teenage music fans and it's totally natural and still manages to be dope. i prefer skelethon and the impossible kid to his other records because i feel like they have the most personality and are very reflective of who aes is as a person.
