I started on this band with The New Athens Ethos and while nothing amazing, I praised their folky elements mixed with the whole symphonic gothic thing...Dawn of the New Athens is however pretty amazing and the song Darkness from "Here Lies..." sends chills down my spine. Lovely track.

"Here Lies..." is a true masterpiece. Alas, everything after it is, well, *ordinary* sympho-nympho metal, probably well-made, but not interesting. I would call it "sympho plastic" (but won't as this could offend somebody))). Tried to listen till the end but never succeeded. Boring. However, "Here Lies..." is an eternal thing.
