There is more than one artist with this name;

1.Aerial from Sandviken, Sweden, is a post/indie-rock act. They’ve released four records so far. “Black Rain From The Bombing” in ‘06, “The Sentinel” in ‘07, “The Legion of Dynamic Dischord” in ‘08 and “Put it this way in headlines” in 09. They have toured the EU on several occasions, and have played with acts such as; The Bell Orchestre, Deerhunter, Arab Strap, Motorpsycho and Mono.

2. Aerial is an indie-pop duo from New Zealand, Michelle Crompton and Andre Upston. Their debut album is The Space Between.

3. Omar(bass), Stan (drums), and Roger (vocals,guitar), members of the Alternative rock band, Aerial, came together in 2006. This Alternative rock band has only been together for a few years but has rapidly built a solid fan base here in the United States as well as other places around the globe such as The U.K. Mexico, Italy, Venezuela, Japan, and Germany.
Aerial is a band who uses music as their tool to bring a powerful and positive message to the listener. “We write about our own life experiences, our ups and downs, reality.” Shares lead singer/ main songwriter, Roger Argenis. Aerial is known for their amazing live show, which is one of the reasons why they have had the incredible opportunity to share the stage with some of today’s most popular rock bands, including, FALL OUT BOY, +44, COBRA STARSHIP, THE ACADEMY IS… , SPOKEN, NEVERTHELESS, and DECYFER DOWN to name a few.

The Japanese version of "Put it this way in headlines" includes a DVD. The DVD has every released Aerial video on it including new videos for songs on the album. The DVD also includes a mini documentary about the band that Aerial shot while on tour and in the studio recording the new album. And as if that wasnt enough you also get alot of bonus material like sideprojects. The combines CD/DVD is available in Japan only so you have to order it from Flake Records. I think it was the talk of connecting back to music they did before The Sentinal that set people up for disappointment. On the new album i was expecting the next level to some of their best tracks like Yet recalls nothing & Time is on fire. About 6-7 listens in now and apart from Vacant dreamers which is definitely up there, the rest are just pleasant pop tracks. Nice break from the intensity of their best stuff, but i hope they do something different on the next release.
