Biography

Hailing from the Texas music scene of Dallas and Austin, Adrian H moved to the northwest and birthed songs that would make your mother cry. Adrian H and The Wounds have a sound that is sinfully soulful and reminiscent of a night in a velvety dark room full of hallucinations, secrets and song. His voice is dark and icy and evokes impassioned stories of love, faith and loss. His post-goth, dark-glam style stirs up comparisons to Leonard Cohen, Nick Cave and Tom Waits. His lyrics are a reflection of his unorthodox religious upbringing. Adrian H and The Wounds are skilled with the language of violence and sharp wit. They cut to the core and make no apologies like a good Charles Bukowski story. If you like your music with a twist of raw emotion, then don’t miss Adrian H and The Wounds.

Have had "Dog Solutide" on repeat for a few days now and just can't get enough of it! A koleidoscope of all things sinister, seedy, romantic loaded with dark humor and cool stories! A+

Finally, the next album from this unbelievable music project! The first one was amazing and "Dog Solitude" is marvelous as well. Beautiful dark cabaret mixed with darkwave. I'm loving it!

I'm out of words... I've never been enjoying music like this one... But the voice of "Adrian H" is simly AMAZING... and the whole concept of the debute album (lyrics, musical arrangements) and primary the ATMOSPHERE which is really weirdly dark and funny at the same time....... I don't know. I smell a great potential in this project. GREAT WORK!!! .................. "she likes cookies and cocaine..." :) Btw, check this video about Adrian H and The Wounds: http://vimeo.com/5148435

You're right, it is really good. Deep music with nice touch of cabaret. I think, they should make something very good in progress.
