Biography

With a sound both eclectic & focused, as powerful as it is poetic, Adam Watts’ music attests to the ability to be, at once, accessible and uniquely memorable. A true solo artist, Adam Watts writes, sings, plays, produces and engineers all his own material. His work marries meticulous production and impressive performance with deeply personal prose - where, lyrically, to listen is to enter a world where love is an ache, compromise cowardice, and truth the exercise as much as the end. “Earnestness and fragility that make for the perfect uneasy listenening; curiously accompanied by unabashedly catchy melodies.” Appearing unable to keep still, his fingers from the fretz or his frame from the studio, Adam remains a much sought after drummer/percussionist, producer (Jeremy Camp, Avalon, the Supertones), and songwriter (Jesse McCartney, 702, Sara Overall). Self described as “as blocked as he is prolific,” Adam’s catalog of over 300 compositions have been included on various television & motion picture soundtracks (MTV, TNT, Paramont Pictures, Disney) and saw his nomination for Singer/Songwriter of the Year, Los Angeles Music Awards.
