Biography

It’s rumored Adam Oliveri lives in a reality all his own, or rather, he thinks he does; and ladies and gentlemen, he’s usually right about these things. But, he could be wrong, because, well, he’s been wrong before; usually more often than he’s correct. Therefore, I’ve come to the conclusion he’s merely straddling our reality and another - quite possibly his own. He may be the gatekeeper of the Einstein-Rosen Bridge, of which, scientists have long been in search.

“The term that most candidly describes Adam would be a word that has yet to enter human language - any language.” - Adam Oliveri on Adam Oliveri.

Adam Oliveri’s sordid story begins several years ago, perhaps around the equinox of 2000, maybe 2001, if it was 2001 it was late 2001 perhaps around Thanksgiving; that American holiday celbrating their diety of Food: Gluttony. Before he found the decks, he tried his hand a being a cult leader. However, his followers quickly abandoned Adam after he informed them that he really had no idea what their cult should be about. Also the lack of a military-style arsenal gave them no credibility with the Feds. So they got bored, left and when he asked them why, they simply said, “Meh.”

It was around this time that he picked up the fabled turntables and mixer which led him on a journey to where he finds himself today. Which is about 5 miles from where he used to live. It’s also just been five years. Through that time, he got his start at his first residency, an after-hours called Touch where he was noticed by other local DJs and promoters and slowly but steadily began DJing at clubs around Pittsburgh.
