Adam’s Castle (Sami Jano, Piano and Rhodes; Eric Adams, Bass; Zach Eichenhorn, Drums) is a three piece experimental/instrumental band from Detroit, now residing in Brooklyn, NY.

This band just might answer the Existential question. Some people think that question is, “Why are we here?”, but that’s a distractor question with an obvious answer: To Rock Out! The quintessential existential question is “What is Truth?” Musically, that answer can be found in Adam’s Castle. Truth is a band stripped of distractions and easy answers that manipulate a listener’s most obvious and primitive emotional responses (like guitars and lead singers) and still manages to rock you to your core leaving you breathless, spent and wanting more at the end of each song.

Initially starting out with raw piano, rhythm, percussion minimalism and morphing into ominously, bittersweet distortion; the band continues to evolve a unique sound - the product of an intense synergy between the members, their intellects and imaginations. The music of Adam’s Castle doesn’t wash over listeners, it makes them dig for an authentic response but, like an ideal lover, it doesn’t demand; it entices, titillates, instructs and enriches.

The trio formed Adam’s Castle and started writing original music together in 1999. Between 1999 and 2004 the band produced two EPs (Short Skirt and a self-titled EP), two full length albums (One Year and Deathless) and played countless (well, certainly count-resistant) live shows.
