Hailing from the streets of Philadelphia, PA, the four young guys in Adalie have admittedly experienced everything but "Brotherly Love" from their own hometown. Of course not in the sense that there is harbored distaste for their seductive alternative/post hardcore tunes; just that, due to the scarcity of all ages venues in the city, playing locally has become a luxury. All the more reason for the band to take their brand of catchy rock music to every respectable venue who will have them in neighboring states and surrounding cities.
Back in February '08, the band made its most significant line-up change, welcoming long-time friend Dan Kirk into the band. Without an inkling of embarrassment, founding member Derrek Siemieniuk even admits to how much of an impact Dan's recent addition to the band had in helping define their sound, not forgetting to feel lucky that Adalie was able to search no further than right around the corner, literally, for the fuel that would get them racing once more toward a dream of sharing music with fans on a full-time scale. The band have described their latest material as "rocking like Underoath and Coheed," but with "vocals even more unconventional than Taking Back Sunday ," all the while still managing to capture the "aggressiveness of Glassjaw."
Already having done a stint on the '08 Vans Warped Tour and the 09’ Taste of Chaos Tour, you can consider them poised to dominate play lists of Ipods and file sharing programs everywhere. The band will be releasing their debut EP in spring of 2009.
