Aborym is an Italian/Norwegian post-black metal band who refer to their style as hard/black alien industrial metal - or something thereabouts. This terminology is met out in its image by its use of extreme pornographic and erotic theatrics, neon corpse paint, and in its music by use of experimental cut up techniques; interspersing, for instance, classical music with extreme noise to create an extremely abrasive but nonetheless extremely charming soundscape that can only be described as alien.

And I would like to know once and for all if Nysrok really did compose the intro to Roma Divina Urbs, I've heard people say that he did, but I also heard the piece in a renaissance music documentary on TV once. I find it a bit far-fetched that a documentary about renaissance music would use the intro to a 20th century metal song.

Are you daft? Generator was an improvement of the formula on FWWU! and WNHI, and to a lesser extent KYB. FWWU! was a transition from the KYB sound to WNHI, and finally to Generator. Psychogrotesque was the result of the horrible mistake of taking Nysrok out of the equation, he has played a key role in their development ever since he joined. Psychogrotesque -- which was an abortion of an album -- was a fatally wounded Aborym, they're just not complete without Nysrok.

New album's brilliant...Generator was a boring bag of crap, but Psychogrotesque was another insane and unique effort for the band, I really like the multi-part song structure of the album...Fabbian's vocals, though not as weird or otherworldy as Attila's, are still pretty decent, and follow on from him better than Generator's vocalist...
