ABC TV, colloquially Channel 2 and often in the media as Aunty, is a national public television channel in Australia. It is the primary television service of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. Launched on 5 November 1956, the channel is available nationally and has a market share of over 16% of viewers.

Some of ABC tv’s shows are now available on the interent as ‘podcasts’, their popularity is growing quite fast as podcasting and internet radio gets more and more popular.

These shows include:
¤The Chaser’s War on everything
¤Summer Heights High
¤Media Watch

and by the looks of it, more of it is shows are going to become podcasted.

On iTunes Australia ABC tv’s podcasts have been on the top of the charts for the last 6 weeks.

hmm well there's currently some pretty good aussie shows i guess. However, if you're looking at the abc you might want to note that a lot of these popular shows are comedies (ie. chaser, shh when it was on) there's not been a particularly big shift towards aussie drama from what i can see, but feel free to prove me wrong.

of this change (Thank god you're here on chnl 10 is pretty much the biggest aussie show but it's the only aussie show with as much ratings that is australian on chnl 10). MissTrish1984: Thanks for that! I only have WMP which scrobbles all my songs but it doesn't scrobble the vidoes I watch. Oh wells haha. Maybe I can check the last.fm settings to see if it is possible you can scrobble videos from WMP or if it's just iPod only. Thanks again!

Can I ask a random question - how are people getting for instance, the Chaser episodes scrobbled? Is it only people with iPods who podcast their episodes and watch them that they get scrobbled on here or can you make it scrobble from Windows Media Player? When I watch various videos on my WMP it doesn't scrobble to my profile but lots of people here have the eps scrobbled. Just curious!
