Aaron Spectre is an American musician, currently residing in Berlin, Germany. Although Spectre produces in a variety of genres, he is most well known for his energetic live sets comprising of multiple MIDI controllers in addition to his laptop and most recently an electric guitar. Since relocating to Berlin in 2003 from New York, Spectre has played all over Europe and recently completed a tour of Japan.

A classically trained percussionist, Spectre began performing as a drummer for bands in the Massachusetts hardcore scene as a teenager. Since then, he began performing as a solo act with his laptop and initially a dulcimer, before evolving into current set up. Though he rarely plays his dulcimer live, he remains a dulcimer enthusiast, having lectured and performed at the Cork Dulcimer Festival in Ireland.

Aaron Spectre started out playing drums in central Massachusetts hardcore bands at age 16. At 19 he moved to New
York City and began DJing and producing Jungle, Drum & Bass, and Ambient music. He moved to Berlin at 23, released
