Vocal Union is an all-vocal, contemporary Gospel group from Nashville,
Tennessee. They began as a group of studio interns in 1995 experimenting
with recording vocal arrangements of traditional gospel music. The sound
they produced found a niche in many churches around the country, and the
Acappella is an all-male Contemporary Christian vocal group that was founded in 1982 by Keith Lancaster, who has variously played the role of singer, songwriter, and producer throughout the group's history. Acappella is by far the most popular musical group to have come out of the Churches of Christ in the U.
The Acappella Company began as a dream in the mind of young Keith Lancaster. Unusually gifted by God with exceptional musical range in his voice, and a unique ability to compose memorable songs, Keith recorded his first album, singing all the parts a cappella, at an early age.
Wayburn Dean is not really supposed to be here. Only two days after he was born, the doctor informed his mother that her child had rheumatic fever and had ten days-- maybe less --to live. Wayburn’s mother took her son home to the little cottage where she lived in New Mexico, and held her newborn up to a single light bulb hanging from a wire in the ceiling.
Sweet Deliverance is a Christian A Cappella group based in Northern California. They have released 10 albums, with newer albums consisting primarily of original work. The albums vary in style from Southern Gospel to Contemporary Christian, but keep the love of the music and the lyrical content shining through each one.
