AIR IN KYOTO is the Swedish musical project of Marcus Spång, characterized by extensive use of glitch based digital beats, textural elements of acoustic and electric guitars, gloomy soft vocals and condensed layers of field recorded samples.

The album Isopharmacy, released for the free internet record label Sordo Recordings, marks a shift from his original style as it relies more on the subtraction of ideas as a way of conserving ambient redolence, with the leveling and presence of an array of instruments, such as guitars and a saxophone, in focus.
