A.C. Newman is the solo project of Canadian musician Carl Newman (born April 14, 1968), the lead singer of The New Pornographers and erstwhile Zumpano frontman. His debut solo album, The Slow Wonder, was released in Summer 2004, and his sophomore album, Get Guilty, was released in early 2009.

I wish the cover art were just a 1% as good as the music inside is, then it'd be like the best cover art ever. I think the so hated cover is not as much ugly as purely poor, dull, and sloppy. Well, the music makes for the artwork.

I just saw A.C Newman a couple weeks ago at the Black Cat, their studio album doesn't do them justice, they are amazing live, the guys who mostly plays the tambourine plays like 12 dif. instruments throughout the show, they are all very talented

I've definitely seen worse album covers happen to good artists than the Get Guilty one. On the other hand, when I went to see him live, I was kind of hoping to grab a t-shirt, but the only one they had was based on that album's artwork, so I had to pass.
