Biography

A Sound of Thunder is a Washington DC based, female fronted heavy metal band. Their four piece band consists of Josh Schwartz on guitar, Nina Osegueda on vocals, Chris Haren on drums, and Jesse Keen on bass. A Sound of Thunder conquers metal realms ranging from ’70s blues-based proto-metal a la Black Sabbath and early Judas Priest, to triumphant modern power metal a la Hammerfall and Primal Fear. Soaring vocals, incendiary instrumentals, and classic songs combine to form an unrelenting, unapologetic slab of metal to stand the test of time.

Loved the debut, that's how you make it count. And yes, they're probably awesome on stage.

Saw this band open for Loudness the other weekend,,, The verdict is in,,, They tore the roof off the place! The crowd was indifferent but holy choker chains these guys were killer! I was impressed anyway! Music and band was tight and the singer WAILED! Great voice, I even bought the CD because i liked the song "My name is DOOM" so much!
