So. Lately I've been getting into a bunch of stuff that I'd usually sneer at.... electro, house, indie remixes. (I knew working in a nightclub would *eventually* make me cool.) I'll do a wee update on the gems I've discovered in those categories lately, but for now...

These past few days I've been craving some chilled-out goodness. Every time I start *really* getting into post-rock I feel pretty swamped... there's so much stuff I've yet to experience, and it shames me that my CD collection looks pretty barren of the classics. (I've got Born Into Trouble As The Sparks Fly Upward, and Rock Action, and maybe a couple more I've forgotten. If only I had the money for more. I've bought a total of ten CDs in this past year or so.) Plus, usually I just download a bunch of tunes and whack my playlist on random, so I've ended up as one of those heathens who can't distinguish their Esmerine from their Do Make Say Think.

Some albums I've been loving? The Fire in Our Throats Will Beckon the Thaw's a cracker…
